Stephen Heidari-Robinson was David Cameron’s advisor on energy and the environment, during which time he played a pivotal role in resetting the UK’s electricity generation strategy and developing the country’s carbon plan. Stephen has over 10 years’ experience in the energy sector, working first as an Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company, then as a Vice President at energy technology and services company, Schlumberger. He has led projects in the UK, Middle East, India, the US and Europe. Stephen has also worked in private equity, the charitable sector and as a civil servant. He is the author of a forthcoming Harvard Business Review book, ‘Reorg – how to get it right’ and various articles on organisational change. Stephen was educated at Oxford and London Universities and is a fluent Farsi speaker.
